3D Mt.Welirang Trekking – Seloliman Nature (LVK-INB2.MWTS17)

DAY 01 ARRIVAL SURABAYA – TRANSFER TO TRETES – TREKKING TO WELIRANG (Recommended arrival by morning flight)

Upon arrival at Juanda Airport with an early morning flight, meet & greet with our guide. Transfer to Tretes Village (1-2 hours) to start the journey to Mount Welirang. It will take 5-6 hours to go through a cloudy plain forest in the second camp with a height of about 2700 m.Our camp will be established near the village of sulfur workers, who stayed here for 5 days shifting. The village consists of simple huts and is a perfect place for interesting photography.  For workers, we will be a welcome interlude and they are happy to welcome us. DAY 02 MOUNT WELIRANG – TRANSFER TO SELOLIMAN NATURE RESERVE

In the morning we start to climb the mountain to the summit of the Welirang volcano, we have time to explore the crater of the Welirang peak and its large fumarole fields, where sulfur is being excavated using primitive tools. Together with the miners, we climbed the mountain to its peak with a crater and fumaroles (2-3 hours on foot).The rest of the day is free to start fumaroles or other mountains, then we go down to Camp Site, and after lunch we return to Tretes Village and then drive to Seloliman. Seloliman is located on the slopes of the holy mountain Penanggungan.
We will stay at the PPLH Seloliman Environmental Education Center with a delicious dinner provided by their staff .Accommodation in this Center, with open bathroom built with the surrounding forest. IThis is a beautiful place to enjoy nature - sitting outside at night under the stars, enjoying the peaceful view of the surrounding mountains.

DAY 03 SELOLIMAN NATURE RESERVE TOUR – TRANSFER OUT SURABAYA

After breakfast, we will meet with volunteers who work at the PPLH Seloliman Environmental Education Center to learn and listen about their Environment program and visit the historian's place at Jolotundo Temple and spring at the talk. After completing your session, we will take you back to Juanda Airport, Surabaya
